Quick Look
FORM Smart Swim 2 is a sleek pair of swim goggles with a tiny in-lens display that puts pace, distance and heart-rate data right in front of your eyes. Slip them on and push off, the built-in sensor tracks your pulse while live metrics guide every lap, so you can focus on smooth strokes instead of checking the pool clock.
Parts & Pieces
The key parts of the product that power the interaction experience:
Interaction Touchpoints
AR Display
Description: Heads-up module inside the lens that projects lap time, pace, and heart rate slightly below your primary line of sight.
Usage: Glance mid-stroke without breaking form; configure which metrics show and let the readout guide pace and sets.
Physical Buttons
Description: Two water-sealed, clicky buttons on the control pod for power, start/stop, and cycling screens - built to work with wet hands and caps.
Usage: Press and hold to power on, single press to start/stop, quick taps to switch views.
LED Indicator
Description: Small status light that communicates charging, pairing, and ready-to-swim states at a glance.
Usage: Check it on deck for battery and link status.
Design Notes
Glanceable, not dominant: The HUD is intentionally peripheral to reduce cognitive load during a set.
Tactility over touch: Mechanical buttons are deliberate here - water and capacitive sensors don’t mix.
Reliable cues: The LED covers out-of-water states; the HUD covers in-water states.
